Company

ISA Pharmaceuticals is a privately held company based in the Netherlands. ISA's product portfolio builds on its proprietary SLP®-technology (Synthetic Long Peptide) for the development of therapeutic vaccines.

The company was founded in 2004 by Aglaia Oncology Fund. It has its roots in the ground breaking research performed by the group of renowned tumor immunologist Professor Cornelis Melief at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) in the Netherlands. ISA Pharmaceuticals holds the exclusive rights to LUMC's patent families for amongst others, the development of therapeutic vaccines. To date, ISA Pharmaceuticals and LUMC closely collaborate on research, production, and the further development of the product portfolio.
